As part of the World Class Manufacturing (WCM)
journey that began in 2006, we had managed to
rank among one of the top three factories within
FCA, reaching the “Golden Level” in 2013. We have
continued to improve our production standards since
then, and we increased our score to 81 as a result
of the audit that took place in 2019 and achieved to
be the company with the highest score among all
automobile factories where WCM is applied.
The "Protective Equipment Production" project, which we have implemented to support healthcare workers in the fight against Covid-19, was awarded the first prize in the "Collaboration-Covid-19" category of the Sustainable Business Awards.
In the latest (18th) round of Environment Awards handed out by the İstanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO), Tofaş placed first in the “Large-Scale Enterprise Environment & Sustainability Management” category.
The International Quality Awards ceremony was organized in London on 27 November by The CQI (Chartered Quality Institute), one of the leading quality institutes, in London, United Kingdom. It involved 103 projects from 10 different countries, competing in 7 main categories, and Tofaş Quality Team won the top award in the category “Development Systems,” leading its international rivals.
Tofaş, uyguladığı yalın ve proaktif çevre yönetim sistemi ile 2012 yılında Avrupa Birliği Çevre Ödülleri Türkiye Programında “Yönetim” kategorisinde birincilik ödülüne layık görülmüştür. Tofaş bu ödülle AB kriterlerine göre; “Türkiye’nin en iyi çevre yönetimine sahip şirketi” seçilmiş ve Türkiye’yi Avrupa Birliği Programında başarıyla temsil etmiştir.
Tofaş Supply Chain Directorate's project "Eliminating the Occupational Safety and Ergonomics Risks as a result of the Elimination of Hammer Use with the Smart Angle Application in Wooden Crates" was awarded in the "Golden Suggestion" category of the Turkish Metal Industrialists' Union (MESS) OHS Competitions.
Tofaş's 9 different human resources practices in different fields were deemed worthy of awards by Stevie Awards and Brandon Hall Group. “HR Lab”, “Health and Social Life Practices at Tofaş”, “Digital Assistant Zekky”, “Evaluation Center”, “Personalized Talent Development”, “Early Talent”, “Local Marketing and CRM Development Programs”, “Field Employee” “Technical Competency System” and “Digital Institutional Memory Wiki” became award-winning applications.
